In 2023, the Discovery Nature Sanctuary was accepted into the Pollinator-Friendly Public Garden Program sponsored by Bee Better Manitoba (www.BeeBetterMB.ca). This organization promotes habitat creation and care for native pollinators. The program includes 20 other Manitoba pollinator friendly gardens .
